Forest gecko x Engraved Acacia Board

A beautifully engraved South Island forest gecko, captured in crisp, intentional linework on warm acacia wood. The artwork is based on a photo taken on the West Coast, giving this piece a grounded, real‑world connection to one of Aotearoa’s most charismatic lizards.

This 25 x 17.5 cm acacia board is food‑safe, making it perfect for serving, grazing, styling, or displaying as a statement piece in your home. The natural acacia grain gives every board its own personality — no two pieces will ever be identical — and the detailed engraving brings out the gecko’s texture, posture, and unmistakable presence.

Each board is engraved and finished in our New Zealand studio, with the acacia wood itself sourced externally. Small‑batch, individually engraved, and full of character, these pieces tend to get snapped up quickly.

A clean, earthy celebration of the South Island forest gecko — crafted with detail, intention, and Wild SASS flair.
